The Mars Hotel

...deliberately askew – a queer take on love – that resists any totalizing grand narrative in favour of a slow accretion of episodes that are consistently off-kilter, that keep us off-balance and throw us off-course." – Peter Dickinson, Performance, Place and Politics

The Mars Hotel is author P.W .Bridgman’s commission of Ziyian Kwan and Peggy Lee to create a work inspired by his eponymously titled flash fiction. Featuring live performance by the three piece band, Handmade Blade, two dancers perform whimsical and irreverent vignettes that unravel the word ‘love’.
