Reading resting installation

Artist Facilitator Sarah Wong

Pillow Whispers is an invitation to rest, read and rejuvenate. Over two days, Morrow will become a makeshift library, filled with books of various genres all authored by Asian writers and decorated with cozy pillows and blankets. This event is part of Sarah’s ongoing research in merging the worlds of text, textiles, and embodiment upon the foundational belief that rest is a form of resistance. We invite folks to participate in Pillow Whispers based on their own needs and desires: arrive whenever, stay as long as you wish, come alone or with company, and feel welcome to bring your favourite Asian-authored books. This space is ours to ease into our dreams.
