Alyssa Favero

Vibrate utilizes both original text and recorded text by Audre Lorde as well as a range of movement vocabulary — from whacking/waacking/punking to contemporary improvisation to heels. The solo synthesizes all of these elements to investigate the emotional landscape of self-expression and pleasure.
